Nurturing the Roots of Motherhood Through Every Season

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and filled with moments of uncertainty. From pregnancy through postpartum and beyond, mothers experience countless changes emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

At Rooted Hearts Counseling, we believe mothers deserve support too. You spend so much time caring for others but your own heart matters. Our desire is to provide a safe and compassionate space where mothers can feel seen, supported, and reminded that they do not have to walk this journey alone.

Our founder, Brittany Bartley, is a Perinatal Mental Health Certified therapist with specialized training in supporting women through the unique challenges that can come with pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into motherhood.

What Does Maternal Mental Health Look Like?

Therapy is a place where you can slow down, process your experiences, and receive support without judgment. Together, we will work toward understanding your emotions, strengthening coping skills, and helping you reconnect with yourself during this season of life.

Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may include:

  • Processing pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences

  • Anxiety and depression support

  • Coping skills and emotional regulation

  • Exploring identity and self worth

  • Strengthening relationships and communication

  • Parenting support

  • Trauma informed care

  • Faith integration, including prayer and Scripture when desired

Motherhood was never meant to be done in isolation. It truly takes a village. Whether you are struggling through pregnancy, adjusting to life with a new baby, or navigating the many seasons of motherhood, I would be honored to walk alongside you with compassion, support, and hope.

Together we can help you grow deeper roots and find strength for the season you are in.
